Ms. Thompson, in a nutshell…
Before I moved to North Carolina and began teaching at Farmington Woods, I lived in Chicago, Illinois and taught in schools there. My husband, Joe Schram, and I decided to move to North Carolina to be near our family and because Chicago is just so cold!!! Brrrrrr!
When I was in second grade, I lived in Greensboro, North Carolina with my family. I liked writing stories and letters and I liked to spend time with my friends. I wasn’t too fond of Math, but I liked school very much, overall.
Now I live in Raleigh with my husband and my son, Eli. We also have two cats and a dog. When we have time together, we like to go for walks and tickle Eli until he laughs like crazy! I also play with my dog and read as many books as I can. At our house, I am in charge of the cooking, so I like to find new recipes and try new and different types of food. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I am a pretty good cook!
I’m not in second grade anymore, but I still like writing stories and letters and I love spending time with my friends. Math is now one of my favorite subjects to teach and I absolutely love coming to school every day at Farmington Woods!
