During our literacy study this week, we will be practicing asking deep and thoughtful questions about the text that we read. Deep questioning is an important part of fully comprehending a text and connecting it to one’s own knowledge and experiences. We will continue reading nonfiction texts about specific countries, and we will be creating our deep questions based on those texts. During our Unit of Inquiry, As the World turns, we will begin combining our climate knowledge and geographic features knowledge as we discuss how those elements of a location affect how people live. In Math, we’ll be working with creating and analyzing graphs. This will include conducting our own surveys and organizing the data.
